The Hinduja tradition of learning and imparting of knowledge is taken forward through our Continuing Medical Education programs within a specially created space, aptly named, BE. This spacious, well-designed area hosts senior consultants from HHS and the Family Physicians and General Practitioners, giving them a forum to update themselves on the latest advances and finding in their specialties. Open interactions, clearing discussions, and take-home messages of how to handle routine as well as escalating emergencies within their daily practice, all make these events eagerly looked forward to.
In our earnest step to reach out to the general public, we regularly host one-to-one interactive programs across specialties. These give people the opportunity to meet with top consultants, and authorities on specific specialties, hear their point of view, clear myths and doubts that may exist. A walk-around is also facilitated in groups so that individuals get a first-hand look and feel of our hospital and its facilities.
This is our focused effort to bring together, advise, and encourage patients undergoing major procedures. These groups improve the quality of life and offer support from other patients or groups in need of (or contemplating) similar procedures.
These meetings are a platform to address fears and doubts, and get empathetic, authentic information from individuals, groups or consultants, to aid the decision-making process. The interactive, informed atmosphere during such sessions strengthens the patient mentally, as well as emotionally.
